Penny for Pound Turns 10! Terms and Conditions

1. Promotion Overview

Penny for Pound is celebrating its 10-year anniversary by giving away one free pre-sliced loaf of white or grain sourdough bread with each in-store purchase made over a designated 10-minute period across five days (6 to 10 October 2026), while stocks last.

2. Eligibility

  • Employees of Penny for Pound and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) are not eligible to redeem free loaves of bread under this promotion.

3. Promotion Period

The promotion runs every day from 6 to 10 October 2026, and a single 10-minute designated window will occur each day, at the same time across all three stores between 7:00 AM AEDT and 3:00 PM AEDT. The window is selected by Penny for Pound’s team and its decision is final.

Participating locations are:

  • Penny for Pound Moorabbin, 7 Cochranes Rd, Moorabbin VIC 3189.
  • Penny for Pound Camberwell, 387 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124.
  • Penny for Pound Hawthorn, 5/701 Glenferrie Rd, Hawthorn VIC 3122.

4. How to Participate

  • Visit one of Penny for Pound’s three locations listed in Section 3.
  • Pay for at least one dine-in or takeaway item within a 10-minute designated window.
  • The window will be the same across all three stores, but different across the five days of the promotion. It will be announced on Penny for Pound’s Instagram story and by in-store staff. A poster will be brought out at each store from the start of each window, and taken down at the end. 
  • Only one free loaf per purchase. 
  • Choose between a white or grain sourdough loaf. All loaves come pre-sliced.
  • A purchase is eligible only if payment is completed within the window.
  • Online, pre-order and delivery orders are not eligible.
  • Each window ends after 10 minutes or when stocks run out, whichever happens first. Stock is limited and may vary by store.

5. Publicity & Privacy

  • If photographed or filmed on the premises during the promotion, participants consent to the use of their image for publicity purposes without additional compensation. They consent to being included or portrayed in Penny for Pound’s marketing material, including but not limited to social media posts, emails and blog posts.
  • To opt out, tell a staff member or email info@pennyforpound.com.au.
  • Participants have the right to request access to and correction of their personal information.

6. Liability & General Conditions

  • Penny for Pound is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in this giveaway.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
  • If any provision is deemed invalid, the remainder of the terms remains in effect.

7. Variation of Terms

Penny for Pound reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions or cancel the promotion at any time, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Any changes will be posted on the Penny for Pound website.
